OJALÁ tequila is the latest liquor venture to come out of the multi-award winning Melbourne startup, Thirsty Group. In the middle of 2022, Founders Jake Gautreaux and Dom Evans along with their team at Thirsty Group had a vision for their next venture: a traditionally crafted, natural tequila created to disrupt the Australian category.

They took the bull by the horns and flew their small but mighty team straight to the  source; Jalisco, Mexico to visit the native agave farms themselves and get acquainted with the local tequila producers. This was important for the team to establish an authentic relationship with the growers, while on their mission to deliver an exceptional and authentic tequila to the Australian market.
